We recommend avoiding large shared stock owned companies such as EIG (Blue Host, Host Gator, etc.) and GoDaddy. Though the introductory prices are often excellent, they tend to suffer in service and support.
A2 Hosting – For high quality shared hosting, VPS, and Dedicated Servers. If you’re a do-it-yourselfer who is not afraid of getting your hands dirty with a bit of code or WordPress this is a full-featured option with excellent speeds. Free SSL, cPanel migrations, and 30-day backups.

Tapas – A major contender for webcomic host. Similar to Webtoon in scope and friendly free mobile apps.

The Duck Webcomics (Previous Drunk Duck) – One of the classic webcomic community and hosting companies.
SmackJeeves – Another longstanding community. Known for long-form comics.
